Despite summer being right around the corner the British weather still holds it's reputation for a chilly breeze and overcast skies. Luckily enough for you and me, this means that layers are still an option!
I've recently developed a kind of need to invest in a really solid pair of jeans, I have a pair of Edwin's already which are (don't get me wrong) an excellent fit but the colour isn't what I'm looking for at the moment... The pre-fade/wash or whatever just isn't doing it for me these days, and you know I've recently developed a thing for navy. So this is where A.P.C comes in.
I'd never really considered A.P.C for my denim, I'd mainly been staring at the Nudie website trying to find the right fit, but when a friend recommended I try his pair of A.P.C denim the tables turned in an instant. I fell in love with the raw Japanese denim and the red selvedge detail, and the fit was just right for the kind of style I was going for. I picked up a 32inch waist in the petite standard, I'm normally a 30-31inch but I figured the extra space would give me a wider leg and also some growing room for when my metabolism finally slows down (I've been told it's imminent). Although the high price point that A.P.C stick at the denim isn't actually that badly priced, you're looking at around £120 for like 14.5 oz raw denim? What's not to love?
A.P.C's styles in general are very nice, I've always been keen but the price tags have always put me off. I normally try to catch them in the sale, that's when you know you'll get the best bargains and especially with A.P.C, their clothing always tends to fit a little on the small side so luckily enough for me, the larger sizes tend to be the ones left in sale.
But anyway, yeah. Big fan of A.P.C now, I've actually got my eyes on a denim jacket by them as well but I'm not ready to double denim it yet.
Maybe you found this post a little hit and miss? Let me know! I actually didn't have too much to write, I just really wanted to show you my new denim! I hope you like!
