When it comes to colour, in all honesty, I'm not a huge fan. Especially bright fluorescent colours, that blind you in the darkest of nights. That however does not mean I refuse to wear colour... I'm just very choosy.
To be completely honest with you, I think it's probably because I know what I generally like and I like to play it safe when it comes to my style, I mean what's easier than wearing black?
So the outfit, as shown above, is a combination of old old, old and new lines. You gotta be realistic with your outfits, not everything can be new season.
So the jacket is A.P.C old old season, I got it maybe 2 years back now? However it still feels like new, the colour (navy) hasn't faded and it's still retained it's shape. With A.P.C, although you spend a fortune I feel like it's more of an investment right? I mean the bomber will never truly go out of style.
The hoodie. This is new season Carhartt, the Hooded Chase Sweat, you've probably seen the darker heather grey before but this ash grey is a godsend. I literally spent weeks scouring the internet for the perfect grey hoodie, colour, thickness and quality all come into play. When I found this one, I just couldn't say no. It's minimal with a small gold logo sewn into the left sleeve, a really nice subtle look. And with most hoodies, wearing it under a jacket just looks and feels insane.
The pants, yep, Dickies. Sticking hard to the workwear brands, these are the 873's a modern take on the classic 874's. Because my legs are so lanky, I find they do tend to swing a little, which is why I normally choose a slimmer fitting pant but I can't really state much more than Dickies are just a really solid choice for straighter looking trousers. I found this kind of wool grey colour in Urban Outfitters, I already own a beige pair and just had to expand the collection.
Of course I had to pair this moody grey outfit with some extra bits like the Patta x Carhartt beanie, black converse and Le Labo tote bag. I could ramble on about how nice these all are but I'm sure you're perfectly aware. I would however like to point on the tote, Le Labo normally make fragrances, some of the best I've smelt, but the odd little interior bit and accessory are just as good. This tote bag is HUGE, and holds more things than you can think of, I believe I'd packed my DSLR, DSLR case with spare lens, SLR and umbrella this day, and still had some extra room.
Look right, look left. Lol. We're finished! Another post in the head of Anthony. I again would like to thank you for reading thus far and if you haven't yet, please check out my other posts.
And by all means let me know what you want to see in the future and leave all your thoughts below.
