Been a while right?
So nowadays, collaboration is everything. Off-White collabs are literally ruling the streetwear world as well as your typical supreme etc. Converse have also been dipping their fingers in all kinds of pies with their range of collaborations, a personal favourite would be the recently released collaboration with Midnight Studios but I doubt I'll ever be able to get my hands on one. It's all about exclusivity these days.
So, if you haven't heard of Campbell Cole, they're a London based independent goods label believing in design, functionality and form. They mainly specialise in leather goods especially wallets and pouches, you probably will have seen a few floating about on Instagram. Anyway, a few months back they announced their collaboration with my good friend Oliver Hooson (@olvh), a menswear and lifestyle influencer who is currently blowing up on the scene.
The release was a limited run of Tote bags designed and made in England, and the response was amazing. I'd seen a few early stages of the bag through visiting Oliver but never even imagined the final product. It sold out within the first few days.
That's how it went for the first 3 batches I believe, each one labelled and numbered, so you know exactly how many there are / which one you own. Until recently, black was the only option, however they have now released a limited number of a stone colour that I was lucky enough to get my hands one. This is the O Tote in stone.
It's got this unique look to it with a cross body strap for a more hands free experience when wearing. Two front pockets for storing smaller items like wallets, keys, phone and pouches. With a zip pocket inside too, the main section is more than spacious however I only tend to keep a light jacket in there. Campbell Cole also have embroidery options which I took full advantage of, I never normally use my last name however I've found it rather appealing lately, especially when it comes to personalisation opportunities.
Anyway, this bag is in an extremely limited run, the batches are only ever released every couple of months and I'm certain that the Stone colour way will be back. Take a look on the Campbell Cole site for more information or just give them a message over Instagram, Ian and Felicity are more than accommodating.
